★英語のレッスン★Phrasal verbs～LESSON 99 Get to～沢山意味があるよ！

３月に入って１番暖かいのではと思える土曜日です。
Twitterを見ると皆さん、結構早くから起きて勉強しているのですね。
私も早いときは早いですが、１週間続くと結構キツイです。
今はまさしくヘロヘロ状態です。
今日のPhrasal verbs get to ですが、
簡単そうに見えてよく聞く単語ですが、実は意味が沢山あるのですよ！
その分使い分けに注意です！ネイティブの方は全部頭の中に入っていてさっと出てくるんでしょうね・・
出来る限り例文を記載したので参考にして下さい。
シナリオに出てくるKumi は日本人の女の子です。
以前チビが空港でタクシーの運転手をしている時に出会った大学生で

英語のシナリオ
赤は Phrasal verbs（句動詞）です
Chibi teaches English to Kumi in an online lesson.
Chibi “What can I do for you today, Kumi ?”
Kumi “I wanna study phrasal verbs.”
Chibi “Sounds good ! Phrasal verbs are really important ! Well, today, I’m gonna teach you ‘get to’.”
Kumi “Gotcha.”
Chibi “Let's get to it. Did I tell you about when I got an Oscar ?”
Kumi “I didn’t hear about it. Are you a Hollywood star ?”
Chibi “Didn’t you know ? But it’s ok. I’m gonna tell you about my Hollywood life using ‘get to’ so you’ve gotta also use ‘get to’ as much as possible, ok?”
Kumi “I got it.”
Chibi “When I got to the red carpet, I was nervous because there were lots of Hollywood stars. ”
Kumi “Did you get to walk on the red carpet ?”
Chibi “Of course.”
Kumi “So, did you get to talk to the Hollywood stars ?”
Chibi “Why not ? Of course. I’m also a Hollywood star.”
Kumi “But I’ve never watched any of your movies.”
Chibi “What⁈ I’m an Oscar actor. Haven’t you watched ‘Bucket List’ ?”
Kumi “I’m sorry.”
Chibi “This is a secret but I’m going out with Jennifer Lopez.”
Kumi “Really ? I can’t believe it. How did you get to know Jennifer Lopez ?”
Chibi “When I got an Oscar, she was a presenter and my speech got to her and she couldn’t hold back (keep back) her tears.”
Kumi “Oh, I see. So can you get to Jennifer by phone ?”
Chibi “I’m living with her in Beverly Hills.”
Kumi “Beverly Hills ? That’s incredible ! But it’s strange because I can see your room now and it's not in a house in Beverly Hills. It looks cheap. ”
Chibi “Oh, this is the housekeeper's room.”
Kumi “I got it.”
Chibi “If you get to take some time off, why don’t you come to Hollywood? I will get you to a party and you will get to meet a lot of celebrities.”
Kumi “Really ?”
Mother knocks on Chibi’s door and comes in.
Mother “Chibi, you're still awake? Get to sleep now.”
Chibi “Hey, mom! What are you doing ? Stay out of my room!”
Kumi “Mom?”
Chibi is upset.
Chibi “That was Jennifer.”
Kumi “I don’t think so.”
Chibi “What time did you get to sleep last night?”
Kumi “We're not talking about that now. Are you really a Hollywood star ? ”
Chibi “Oh, it’s time. I’ll get to that next lesson.”
今日のPhrasal verbs（句動詞）は
get to
①～に到着する・着く・行く
②～に連絡する
③機会を得る、チャンスを得る
④許される、許可される
⑤影響を与える・感動を与える
⑥着手する
⑦寝る、ベットに入る
①I got to his homepage.
私は彼のホームページに行きました。
②I have to get to my boss every morning.
私は毎朝上司に連絡しなければならない
③Did you get to talk to Jennifer Lopez？
ジェニファーロペスと話をする機会がありましたか？
④I get to use my smartphone while working. (allow)
仕事中にスマホを使うことが許されました。
⑤This screenplay got to her.
この脚本は彼女に感動を与えました。
⑥Let's get to it.
