★英語のレッスン★Phrasal verbs～LESSON 114 Fall down～T は発音しない！
英語の勉強をしている皆様、お疲れ様です！
私のブログを見て頂いている皆様、ありがとうございます！
昨日は夜地震があったみたいですが・・私は既に就寝しており全然気が付きませんでした。唯、夢の中で地震にあったような感覚はありました。(-_-;)
英語の勉強をしている方はご存じかと思いますが
英語の発音で "T" は発音しないそうです。
それで１番困るのは
I can ～
I can't ～
T を発音しないから同じに聞こえる。
出来るのと出来ないのでは全然意味が違いますよね・・
ネイティブの先生も聞き返すことがあるそうです。
私達もやはり聞き直した方がいいですね。

The producer, the cameraman and Hanako from the TV show ‘Why did the cat come to Japan?’ wait in front of a hotel.
They set up a TV camera.
Cameraman “It's about time.”
Chibi’s family comes out of the hotel and Chibi comes running toward the staff while smiling and waving his hands.
Hanako “Oh, Chibi is coming out of the hotel. He is wearing a Japanese hakama. It’s looks great.”
Producer “He is carrying a Japanese sword.”
Cameraman “He looks like a real samurai !”
Chibi trips over his own sword and falls down in front of everybody.
Everybody laughs.
Producer “This is awesome ! What a great shot! ”
Chibi is lying down on the road.
Hanako “Chibi, are you ok ?”
Chibi “It hurts. What’s everyone laughing about ?”
Producer “Thank you Chibi. We got a nice shot.”
Chibi “That sucks ! You can’t use that. Let's shoot again.”
Producer “What are you talking about ?”
Chibi “I’m a samurai cat, the same as my grandpa! Do you think the samurai cat that trips over his own sword is funny ? “
Chibi “Do you wanna show up my grandpa, Chibijiro ? Let's start over again.”
Producer “But this is a documentary. We have to leave it in.”
Chibi “Don't make me use this demon sword.”
Chibi holds his demon sword.
Father “Hey, stop ! ”
Mother “Chibi has a real sword.”
Producer “Really ?”
Mother “You don’t wanna mess up on the job, do you ? Please do it over again.”
Producer “All right.”
Producer “This is a big hassle ! But let’s do it over again anyways.”
Chibi’s family comes out of the hotel and Chibi comes running toward the staff while smiling and waving his hands, but Chibi trips over his own sword and falls down again.
Everybody laughs.
Hanako “Oh my gosh! Chibi fell down again.”
Chibi “I don’t wanna let my grandpa down, so let me try it 6 more times.”
Producer “6 times ? Why ?”
Chibi“My grandpa often told me a Japanese proverb, ‘Fall down seven times, get up eight.’ ”
Producer “This cat is a huge hassle !”
今日のPhrasal verbs（句動詞）は
fall down
①倒れる・転ぶ・ひっくり返る・落ちる
②（仕事などに）失敗する
③（建物などが）くずれ落ちる・倒れる
I fell down on the stairs and got injured.
階段で転んでケガをしました
I can’t believe Tokyo Sky Tree fell down.
東京スカイツリーが崩れ落ちただなんて信じられません
Chibi fell down again.
チビはまた倒れた
